Who we are?
The Telangana state Chapter of RSSDI is spread across 33 districts and we have more than 500 members currently, both men and women doctors from all walks of medical specialties. Telangana state with its capital city of Hyderabad has hosted many national conferences and is ever ready to host more. We have many stalwart speakers at national and international level conferences and other educational events
We the members are actively doing a lot of awareness camps on Diabetes in and around Hyderabad., and other districts . We have two centers of excellence in Osmania Medical College Hospital and Warangal Govt Medical College Hospital for type 1 diabetes children where free treatment is given.
Village adoption programmes are ongoing. we are in the process of identifying more villages and disricts for village adoption activities with the help of local doctors who are rssdi members.
TS RSSDI CME PROGRAMMES
Continuos medical udates are the need of the hour. We need to update ourseves with the the latest on treatment and prevention of diabetes.
We had severalCME programmes during the ear with good attandance. we even had a satellite CME programme so as to reach out to more doctors in other districts . to upgrade ourselves with the most recent advances in the field of Diabetes is the ultimate goal.. We believe that Knowledge is power and all of us must equip ourselves with that power of knowledge and offer our services to the full.
We are proud to say that we had FIVE national elected presidents of RSSDI from Hyderabad (Telangana): Namely Dr Bnod Kumar Sahay, Dr N Sudhakar Rao, Dr P V Rao, Dr Ch Vasanth Kumar and Dr Rakesh Sahay is the current RSSDI president.

Nothing is impossible, at least we can try to do our best to make our State diabetes free. We would involve not just diabetologists, endocrinologists, and nutritionists but also other specialists like cardiologists, Nephrologists, ophthalmologists, and Gynaecologists in offering complete diabetes care.
Our vision is to detect early, treat aggressively and efficiently, and prevent complications of Diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is also equally increasing and our vision is to give them the best help and guidance to be free of complications.
